For the services of Stacy Coley it looks to be a two way battle between Miami and FSU, and some seem to think that losing coach McDonald is a blow that Miami will not be able to bounce back from. Here is why in the end Coley will be a Cane.

1. Miami returns the 5th best passing attack lead by ACC single game record holder Stephen Morris. On the other hand FSU will be losing its starting QB EJ Manuel to graduation.

2. Kevin Olsen is Stacy's QB in the UA game. Stacy has said on several occasions that he wants to play with a great QB and he is getting to see first hand just how great Olsen is and what they could do together in the next few years. I know some of you will say that FSU signed #1 ranked QB Jameis Winston last year. The difference is Stacy can only watch youtube clips of Winston to see how good he is, on the other hand he is out there catching touchdowns from Olsen RIGHT NOW. There is nothing like actually playing with a guy and building chemistry, this time he is spending with Olsen will pay off huge in the end.

3. Coming to Miami Stacy can play at home in front of his family and friends, he can't do that as easy in Tallahassee.

4. Stacy gets to play with guys he grew up with. Stacy has stated several times that he, Tracy, Malcolm, and a few of the other players on this team have been friends since little league.

5. No WR at Miami has taken control of the receiver spot and became the go to guy yet so there is a chance for Stacy to come in and be the alpha male of the pack. He couldn't do that at FSU because Rashad Green, Greg Dent, and Kelvin Benjamin will have the upper hand over him.

6. Miami will hire a top flight WR coach and assign him to Coley. Al will make whoever the new coach is recruit this kid until the ink is dry on his LOI.

7. Coach Bennett and his mom are both All About The U and I just couldn't see them allowing him to pick FSWHO.

I undersand that for some of you this one will be a nail biter all the way until the end, but unless Al completely strikes out on a WR coach this kid is as good as ours.

Usually posts like these are full of B.S. and hot air, but this was very well thought out and brings up many solid points. Thanks you good sir.

the problem is... post like this just make too much sense for us, the fans.... for some strange reason i havent figured out, a lot of these kids dont look at simple facts that make them a perfect fit.... ie: DT recruitment for us... how the **** does any local DT stud, not see the possible immediate playing time / ability to become the stud DT for Miami?? but would rather place FSU in top contention for their DT services?? the same FSU that has signed all 4-5star DT's for the last 2-3years..... DT between UM/FSU is a no brainer in my mind...

Recruits just BS too much. Too much analyzing going on here. Myron Rolle going to FSU for the best education while turning down much more highly acclaimed academic institutions is a prime example of this.

Coley to me was ready to commit and probably would've committed after this weekend and the dead period was over with olsen and burns in his ear but mcdonald is gone and the relationship with the position coach is big and remember we only been on coley in the past 2 months

We have lost 2 WR to graduation. The MNW and Booker T kids. We have two WR coming off major surgeries and do not know the extent of their recoveries.

Question: Who else besides Coley we are recruiting? NO ONE ELSE!!!!!!

Question: Does Golden have a detailed business plan?

Question: Is Golden a stupid **** like some of our recent coaches?

CONCLUSION: CANE LOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cunningham is still an option and Kermit will be visiting on the 18th. I'll be majorly disappointed if we don't pull Coley though. Thems the kind of studs we're going to need if we're gonna catch the Big Dogs.

What doesnt make much sense either is how they cant see how these kids cant get coached up by FSU coaches. Their lines are huge but none really stand out.

Great Post - I disagree with Part 5 though - I like Miami's existing WR core as much if not more than FSU's. Yet neither have a standout #1 so If Coley lives up to the hype he'd start at either school.

Sadly, I agree. For a lot of these kids, the 'snake oil salesmen' are in their ears selling crap and they sign with a school then are lost on the depth chart.
