That's great, but we need the help at RB right now. We have 3 really good CBs, plus Burns who is starting to see more time. We need more depth and explosive plays at RB.

Bearing in mind we're not using Gus Edwards, why would you want to move a guy dealing with a transition to CB to RB?

We're not FSU just yet, we can't move guys around on a whim like that because there's 4 guys to take his place.
 
Not sure how this would make a difference. Our QB doesn't go through enough progressions to get to the point where he'd get Corn the Elder the ball, even if Elder could play.

Because we need him there and he's not playing on defense this year and likely won't next year either since no CB are graduating.

Because Sproles might be short, but he is a grown man. Corn is built like the bus boy at Denny's.
