Question,why does not the U get more local talent than what they do?Bama,Georgia,Clemson
all see to be able to sell the local talent on coming to there school.The advantages the U
seems to have are:
1.My parents and relatives can see me play at every home game.
2.All of the schools named are public colleges,the U is a private school.
3.If I'm on scholarship in FB at the U,Richt will not take my scholarship away for injury reasons.
4.My chances of going to the NFL are among the best in the country.
Now what I don't know because the U is private with high academic standards,is the real
problem they cannot get into the U?

Throw out the high academic standards to get in, standards for athletes not nearly the same as a regular student, and trust me the kids they
are getting out of local high schools are not scholars.

I’m really not sure 2-4 matter or even why they would matter. Most kids don’t care bout school so throw out being a private school mattering.

Most schools are going to honor a scholarship for kids who’s career end some way medically.

You have the same shot of getting to the NFL at any school in this day of age. The notion that your chances are higher at Miami are long gone.

Heck, I'd take winning against the likes of UVA, BC, Duke and GT to start. That should build a foundation of #12ish ranked classes.
