The University of Miami is proud to announce its plans to find a permanent home for its football team. While a site has not been determined (it is obvious that tropical park is perfect and that should be the site) we are initiating a full speed ahead fundraising campaign that will fund Miami's own stadium that give the student athletes the true home field advantage they deserve. Donations toward this project will be held in trust and not used for any other purpose. We believe that with your help we can raise the funds necessary to buil the stadium within 10 years. Please contact (blank) regarding opportunities for section, scoreboard, concession stand and other naming rights.

I said a site not determined. And btw If Um agreed to build the stadium, the city would easily give Miami a lease in perpetuity to use the facility for 7 home games a year. No downside for the city or UM

UM would have to fund the entire thing themselves for the city to agree to build another stadium. MLS got approved bc its being privately funded. the city doesn't want another marlins park on their hands regardless of the team.

Because I did not win the Mega Millions. I had already earmarked stadium funds to go along with the McgaheetotheHouse Legal Education Center.

It is and this is why it's frustrating reading fire the coaches threads everyday. Until football is a priority nothing will change.

Tropical Park would be an ideal location for a stadium and expansive parking. But I'm not holding my breath on that one LOL
 
I think those who say we will never get a stadium should be banned from home games when the day comes.

25 year lease with no life stadium with 21 years left, in which the school makes a ton of money from; however, we are going to spend money.

Makes sense.

Makes sense, don't accept season ticket holders because there is a waiting list for them.

It isn't happening, but I will buy season tickets for the Hurricanes football team regardless of venue.
