For intentional grounding before their last fg? QB in the pocket chucks the ball way ob with no receiver close.

Good question. And if they had, three points go away, and we are withing field goal range at the end.

Or the phantom PI against McGee...ACC refs are just terrible all around, unfortunately I feel like we are on the worse end of the calls more often than not, but ACC refs in general are probably the worst of the major conferences.

I though it was interesting how they allowed the UNC back to bounc up and down prior to the snap. I suppose he considered in motion?
 
The refs actually went out of their way to give us the game yesterday.
This is the first time I've seen this happen in our favor.
So I wouldn't complain about the officiating at all.

Gift call? The DB wrapped his arms around the WR and basically chucked him to the side. Gift call my ****.

And the refs didn't give us the game, UNC actually committed those penalties. Not our fault that UNC is the most undisciplined team in the history of sports. They tried to break the world record for personal fouls yesterday, and were actually lucky their LB didn't get tossed from the game when he ripped Morris' helmet off and threw it 10 yards. In the rulebook the refs can toss a player for that. Not our fault UNC tried to play with 12 guys on back to back plays. Not our fault UNC's WR held on every single toss or WR screen.

THESE guys had almost as much penalty yardage as we did in the Cotton Bowl way back and that team thumped Texas.

We should have won this game.

UNC was not good

I don't know about giving us the game, but I can't remember the last time an opponent got called for that many penalties, especially compared to ours.

Can't complain at all.

I believe the call on the field was that he was outside the tackle box...though he didnt appear that way to me. In any event, we may have been in hypothetical "field goal range" but not necessarily "Jake Wieclaw field goal range." And as others have said, we got plenty of calls as well. Tough break, but we've been getting pretty good breaks this year so we were bound to have one go the other way on us. IMHO if Morris doesnt get hurt we win.
