Why are we looking????

For a scapegoat for a game that hasn't even happened yet? I mean there are threads on Coach AG, on Coach D on Kehoe, On Morris and **** even one on Duke! Is anyone safe if we lose or will everyone wan someone fired or replaced? I just do not get all these threads. The main reason I find them useless is because even if we played our best game ever, ran for 250, passed for 350 and dominated. People would still call for someones head if in three weeks we lost to Tech.

I understand we are passing time, however I don't like the tone being sent with these threads. I love the threads about our scheme or theirs, thats some good conversation.

I can tell you this as long as we play well I can be content with the outcome. As long as I see us coaching and playing our butts off I will be ok. Will I be ****ed if we lose yeah! But I will only get really ****ed if we just **** the bed and get smoked.

Am I missing something?

Our fans are a bunch of irrational mopey porsters, why would that change on game week before UF?
 
Our fans are miserable people for the most part, so they're always looking to bathe in their misery and share their diseased bath water with other similarly situated mopes. It's truly putrid to see some of these miserable souls pre-whining before the biggest game we've played in quite some time against a hated rival. They're wired in such a way that they can't enjoy the fcking moment instead of looking for people to skewer JUST IN CASE we lose.

They can't enjoy the football season because they're always looking for a new angle to be the first guy to say something profound and to be congratulated by the other mopes. The glory that is Canes football season just started, and you'd think by the posts on here that we're doomed already. Some guys will label their misery and sour approach to life as "realism" or "legitimate football discussion," but, at the end of the day, it's just an outward expression of their overall mopery. Fortunately, there are a few good posters on here, but the mopes are propagating at light speed.
 
What do you mean? Duke never dominated a good team last year. Kehoe was fired because be was complacent and a lazy recruiter. It showed in the FAU game where Duke lead the entire nation in rushing and the Oline produced 300 yards of rushing. Coach Doritos defense has gaping porno style holes in it. The WR's can't get open on good secondaries and the Gators is the best ever. **** Stacey Coley isn't any good because he dropped easy TD passes. I told you all why we would lose to the Gators and none of you fans wanted to listen to me. Told you so!

Stacking the porsts like a woodsman stacks firewood for the winter. If the cold never comes, nobody will notice the excess supply, but if it does, boy howdy are they ready for it.
 
I think it's the opposite. I don't think people are trying to scapegoat them, I think they are stating facts about what has been shown in the past to see if those coaches can prove themselves. You mentioned Golden, D'Ohnofrio and Kehoe.

1. Golden to date hasn't beaten a team for a marquee victory. This is his biggest game of his coaching career to date. I'm not looking as a scape goat if he can't get it done, I'm looking at him under a microscope as thus far, he has not proven himself against ranked competition.

2. D'Ohnofrio defense, to put it lightly, was ******* horrendous last year. The beatdowns by KState, Notre Dame, and allowing Duke and Virginia to put up 40 points against Miami is troubling, to say the least. That is our biggest concern this year. For people to come out and say that after we played FAU, our defense is vastly improved, is premature IMO. Everybody keeps saying that UF's offense is garbage, vanilla, etc. Well, I heard the same thing last year against Notre Dame's team. Who didn't care if they couldn't throw the ball, and rammed it down our ******* throats through power football. UF has the capability to do the same thing. I want to see that D'Ohnofrio has changed from last year. I don't want to see our defense give up 30 points to a team that has no business scoring more than 17.

3. Kehoe has collectively the most talented, deepest and most experienced group on our team. This was supposed to be the cornerstone of our team this year. Make no mistake, Miami's O-line vs Florida's D-line will be the key to this game, in particular the interior of the LOS. If we can't get off our initial blocks and move to second level for run plays, Duke will get hit many times without getting the ball in space where he is the most dangerous. That, and if they give Morris time to throw the football, will determine if we can open up the offense.

It's not scapegoating, it's looking at the keys to this game and determining our weaknesses and strengths compared to UF's weaknesses and strengths.

OK so Pick, was being sarcastic. The whole time I was reading it, I kept wondering if you were being sarcastic.. lol

Boris, Fair enough.
However like I posted you would totally **** on them in 3 weeks is we lost to GT even if we blasted UF this week. So are they really proving anything or just buying time before you get to tell us all how much smarter you are then them? I think this is a very smart staff, with a good program and plan for the future.

As long as we show up, play our asses off I wont really change my status of the staff if a 18 year old kid drops a pass at the end and we end up losing. I will be ****ed that we lost but I sure as **** would not blame anyone too much. In a game of inches when you know it will be close all you can ask for is a chance to win it. As long as we have that I will be satisfied.

I mean if we lose 14-10 are we gonna say Coley needs to go as OC? and If we win or lose in a shootout everyone will want D'os head. So whats the point?
