Champ Bailey.
Ricky Williams
Percy Harvin (******* hate admitting it)
Derrick Henry
Payton Manning might have been the most Pro-ready college quarterback I’ve ever seen.
Tommy Frazier

I was just trying to throw some names out I hadn’t seen mentioned much. A lot of the other all time greats have been brought up already

Moss, I knew there was nobody in the NFL that could cover him. If he was created in a video game, every attribute would be maxed.

Peterson, same thing and we had people saying he ran too high.

Faulk was another one. Wish I could compare him to Sanders, but Sanders was before my time at the college level.

The only thing that could hold those three back was injuries, father time, or off the field issues.

Good call on Percy. He gets overshadowed by Tebow but arguably, he made that offense tick not Tebow. Unique player.

Herschel Walker. No one else close.
Led UGa to 1981 National Championship almost single-handedly winning Sugar Bowl over Notre Dame. Ran for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns, half of that after separating a shoulder. Remainder of GA offense accounted for MINUS 30 yards. GA QB had ZERO completions.

I'm not sure if his name already came up, but Calvin Johnson was another guy I distinctly remember. I don't think I knew much about him before the game but he made several WTF plays during the game and I was like, who is this dude. Reggie Ball was just throwing junk up and somehow he'd come down with it.

Edit: (I tend to think about this in terms of folks we played.)

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I have said to many over the last 40 years the best player I have ever seen was Herschel Walker. Someone fact check me on this, but didn't he come in 2nd in the Heisman as a freshman? Guy was a grown man as a freshman running around, over and through everyone. I mean the defense knew he was getting the ball and still could nothing to stop him.
Jim Brown, Gale Sayers and Herschel. Lived in Atlanta when Walker played. The play when he ran over Tennessee DB Bill Bates was amazing. Unforgettable career at UGA.

I lived in Ga when he was in school even had a T that read “Herschel Walker’s my Dawg”
