Which former Canes QB does Morris remind you of

His size, arm strength, confidence that he can fit the ball in a small space and mobility remind me of Craig Erickson who made just enough mistakes to **** fans off but more than made up for it with big plays.

Nobody...he has a unique style has a great arm, cant run for ****, has no consistent throws under the coverage...jury still out on his smarts for the game, beating a big time school
I think this year he changes all that..well he has to for us to win.

Craig Ericson was very very smart and could make throws SM cant and SM can make throws that barely few UM qbs ever could..

Vinny and Geno had great arms as did Kenny Kelly...all you hear is how Dorsey had all this talent so did KK and he just was not a QB...

He's got swagger like Jacory, arm strength like Testaverde/Torreta, leadership like Kosar/Walsh/Dorsey, and mobility like Kenny Kelly. I don't think you can really compare him to one guy. This is all based off reports and potential.

Golden raved about his smarts in his recent interview for being able to learn four different offenses as well as being able to identify the concepts of individual plays. Basically he would kill it on the chalk board with Jon Gruden.

Like I said he will kill it this year....we all know we grow as men from 20-22...THIS IS CLEARLY STEPHENS TEAM...
 
He actually reminds me most of Berlin, but only because we have few comparable quarterbacks in our history.

He may not be a great runner, but he does have an almost Marino-esque ability to slide in the pocket and sidestep the pass rush to buy time for throws downfield...I don't know if any of our great QBs did this as well as Morris does it.

Since he doesn't remind me of any Miami QB's, I'd say his sense of humor reminds me the most of this guy:

Truthfully, he is just a way better version of Marve. Same build, similar mobility, just way more arm and between the ear talent.
 
His mechanics need work but are head and shoulders better than marve. I agree that Morris isn't like any QB Miami has ever had. If he starts tearing **** up and goes off this year... Vinny.
