"Diamante Howard, another Hurricanes pledge, seems to have officially moved to defensive back. The 3-star outside linebacker from Miami Southridge High School said he was planning on moving to safety this off-season since he’s only 6-2 and 178 pounds."

Hope it was an off day in the 40 along with be a youngster at the 2017 Miami Nike Vertical jump for age quite impressive.

I though Howard would be too lean for LB at this point. On that Nike combine from a year ago (it was in Orlando) hard to tell long speed as he has not run track. Also at that combine turned in a good SS 4.36 for the age. Good height measured at Nike 6-2..

Why all the top talent transfer to Doral?

"Jaden Davis was dominant against elite competition. The 4-star cornerback from St. Thomas Aquinas wrapped up just about everyone he was asked to cover, including 4-star wide receiver Jeremiah Payton during 1-on-1s. He unofficially visited the Hurricanes on Saturday."

Interesting on a guy that is listed at 5-11/170 and while his track career is very brief, posted a so-so 23.72--200m at Lou Bing Friday.

Doral Academy is taking in powerhouse football players. Is it the coaching, program, etc?

This is actually good news, Miami gets to see him at Safety in high school. Plus theirs another spot open for LB's now that he is transitioning.
