where is Hagens?

At this point I have to put it on coach Coley. He's a spread offense guy. Our team is built for power running and play action, yet coley will do none of that.

IMO Mo Hagens should be getting 5-8 carries a game and most of them in the first quarter.
 
by the numbers:


Duke Johnson - 30 carries

Crawford - 7 carries


no other backs got carries.


Againg, coach Coley should face a CTE lawsuit from Duke Johnson's surviving children someday. He is ******* KILLING Duke Johnson thru overuse. A kid that size has no bidnizz getting 30 carries a game.

This. This. This. We got a nasty O-line with one playmaker and one wrecking ball at running back. We are built for the Power I or Pistol if one so wanted and run, run, run the ball and yet..... we refuse, till the game is on the line then we know exactly who is getting the ball. We do the exact opposite of what we are built for.

Mind. Numbing.

What have you guys seen that would warrant Hagens getting more playing time?

Watch him when he is in, he does nothing! IMO

The guy is rarely in on any big carries. The coaches aren't going to put somebody on the bench especially in short yardage situations if they thought they were good, would they???

What is this the **** twilight zone??? Or maybe nobody pays any attention!
 
Offense is definitely schizophrenic right now. To put a positive spin on it though, it is Coley's first year and his first as a true OC. Having offered that, if we are going to burn Duke for 20 plus carries a game, we need to get more double TE sets and definitely MO HAGENS.

people talk all the crap about hagens but he hasn't done anything wrong. the two times we had success when needed and have been pretty dominate is when we went to running the ball. this spread **** is for the birds.

coley has been questionable with his play calling the last two games but morris isn't helping anything out at all. bad reads and bad throws if walford doesn't catch the overthrown pass from morris before half no td for us and its a loss.

You obviously never saw him carry or catch the ball in any of the games this year.

He's averaging 5.3 yards per carry.


If he gets two consecutive carries he produces a first down.

I bet he doesnt get carries in practice. Hagens is never in one 1 back sets, which is just about all we've run since the uf game. He wasnt even in the game on 4th and 1. THAT is how estrogenated coach Coley's schemes are.

Tell me you watched the UNC game, when they went heavy with Mo at the goal line in the first half when they ran it on the 1st two plays?
Hagens was just in the way! He just looks lost!

Much rather have Duke run on that 4th and 1 out of a 1 back set with a couple of TE's than anybody else! There is a reason why Coley continues to do that... BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN WORKING!
