I'd say lock the thread b/c it doesn't get any better than that one, but I'd still love to see some other ones. Lets get drunk and emotional up in here!
 
to be honest, i want to put together a iPhone wallpaper and i want to steal some of the photos you guys like

so out with them already.
 
the one where its in rumble I am so glad we are at Sun Life with the jumbotron watching games is the OB was horrible it was such a dump

If this is VT 2001-2002 with Michael Vick than I was there.
It was my first live Div 1 football game and I never will forget it.
I don't remember the lights being on so I'm not sure. It was a day game and Vick was hurt and didn't play much.
My son graduated with his masters in PT that year.:stormwarning:
 
I debated whether I should open this thread. I have a hard time looking at pictures of the Old Girl. It legitimately saddens me.

This was the 2002 Va Tech game where Willis went nuts and scored like 5 or 6 TD's.

The 2000 Va Tech game is the one you are talking about. I think it was a noon kickoff. Michael Vick was hurt and basically ineffective. They kept playing that stupid "Who Let the Dogs Out?" song during the entire game.

It's not. The game you're talking about was 2000, that game in the pic was 2002. This was also the game where someone had the epic, "Vick is a *****" sign which they held up behind the Gameday set.

My son graduated in 2001 after that season then.
Anyway, it is one of my fondest memories.
We went by charter bus from one of the bars outside the medical building.
They had kegs and chicken barbq on a side street east of the OB.
We were actually late getting to our seats.
As we climbed up one of the single file tunnels there was a roar as UM had scored already.
That place was a dump but made some amazing sounds.
Undefeated and NC year. Amazing just amazing.

I've been in love with the Canes ever since.

I think we could have great experiences at Sun Life as well if we can just this team to get on a roll.

GO CANES!!!!!
