well we were competitive with FSU last year the entire first half. I believe at half-time they only had a 3-point lead. This year i expect the same, do i expect a W, naw. But it'll be closer this time. Gotta win the coastal. cant be overstated

Measuring stick for this season or long-term? Long-term is obviously to build a national championship team and perennial powerhouse again. As far as this season.... I'd say win the Coastal and if we do lose to FSU, lose barely. 9 wins is a must and having a defense that plays with attitude and swagger for the whole season and doesn't lay down and get run over by **** near every team.

I think in everyone's mind, winning the coastal means 9-10 wins. I highly doubt anyone here would be satisfied with anything less than that regardless if we win the coastal or not.

Thats what I expect.

I'd dial back on the Coley over 1k yards, not because he's not capable, but because we now have such a deep and talented WR corps (and TEs) that the catches may be spread out quite a bit. Though Coley's presence will help the other receivers because of the double coverage he'll draw. Also we'll feature the running game.

Measuring stick for this season is minimum 10 wins (not including Bowl Game), Win Coastal Division Outright, & Top 40 in Defense. If there are several 500+ yard games given up by the defense this year Onofrio needs to be fired.

I do not have much respect for GT, Duke, UNC, UVA, VT and PITT. These are mediocre programs and instead of struggling to barely beat the majority of these programs I'd like to finally see Miami impose its will and blowout these teams.

Under Golden (*SO FAR) the results have been like NC State in 2012 where we get up by a lot of points by an explosive offense but have to hold on late in the game due to a ****** defense. Or like Wake Forest or UNC where the offense struggles and the defense allows constant long drives and possession and we have to grind out a last minute win. So I'd like to see some 35 - 7 type no doubt wins again.
