I believe he made the comments prior to the game so im sure he is having second thoughts but who care anyways i don't think is a take for miami anyways

What is so surprising about it? Did kids not sign up to play for Miami when Randy Shannon went 5-7 in 2007?

So many so that he had the #1 class in the nation in 2008.

Guys signed up to play or Golden, as well—after a slew of sub-par seasons.

Kids don't look at school and playing at football programs 3-4 years the way fans do.

If a kid grew up rooting for Florida State and he gets an offer and wants to play there—he's thinking that it's Norvell's first year, and that the ship can start to get righted in a couple year. Might have a rough first season, but things eventually turn around and by the time he graduates / leaves, things will be on a better track.

Meanwhile, he had fun for a few years in Tallahaseee as a football player at FSU; big fish in a little pond in a fun college town.

The "why" isn't that confusing if you look at it as a player—especially when these kids are forging relationships with coaching staffs telling them the program will turn a corner and they'll be a big part of the rebuild.

Again. we're dealing with knee-jerk 17 year olds here—not grown ***, mature adults.

Let this kid go be another unproductive and underachieving defensive lineman under Norvell/Fuller.
 
Yeah been said a few times but I highly doubt this kid has a commitable offer. We definitely dont need to take a DE with one of our last few spots. Especially has hot as we are right now. Manny is going to save those last few slots for some whales in case we can flip someone.
 
As tight as the spots are right now do you actually believe this? We’re in it for multiple five stars while leading for M Brown. Do the math.

As I said in August “ the staff is big game hunting, now recruiting will quiet down”.

Imo we land one more five star, at minimum.

We have 4 scholarships left(publicly) and he's not one of the top 4 options.

If you told me it was a d!ck-sucking contest and FSpoo foosball was in the lead, that would make a lot of sense.
But in a recruitment for a defensive lineman??? Kid needs a psych eval.

He actually does, we sent him an official on 8/23.

He's saying that Miami is 2nd because he's still committed to FSU, but we probably won't have space for him anyway.

Man....I would've NEVER thought we'd be where we are in December. So much has happened....Lashlee, Justice, Likens.....KING....Thad re-committing in Feb (that was big)....Arroyo seemingly out of nowhere.....Brinson (BIG) and then the explosion with Kitchens, J-Will, LT56, Chase Smith....and now we're Top 10 and 3-0.

One more 5 Star at minimum is the expectation now. This is fun, guys. Thankful for it.

This kid has a best friend who is a 2 star and he is shopping them as a package deal. Basically he is telling people that schools are hot for him to influence FSU to give his boy a scholarship. Miami isn’t wasting a spot on him at this point let alone taking a JAG to get him
