What I've heard on Collins

This isn't great news, but from talking to a few people with Broward connections over the past few weeks, this is what I have on Collins.

He is taking his Wisconsin visit this weekend. I've been told that his coach at South Plantation isn't exactly pro-Miami so that doesn't bolster the chances of holding onto him. From the looks of things, Wisky is a bigger threat than FSU, which is interesting considering the season they are having up there.

At the end of the day, I still feel like Miami will hold onto him, but he is by far the least solid commitment. It will be a bumpy ride to NSD with him. Don't expect any major news with him during his season though. He will really start focusing on the process after the season.

Want to hold onto him in a major way, but I would not be able to handle losing him to FSU. Wisconsin I can get over

No offense but what are Peter's credentials? Is he full of horse crap like papacane? Or is he a journalist?

Come on man. Look at some of his recent work on this forum alone. He is a good person and has some legit inside information.

A journalist versus full of horse crap?

Not really a strong way to differentiate considering most recruiting sites are horse **** "journalists"
 
Losing Collins is unacceptable. I don't care if it's to Wisconsin or FSU.

He must be kept.

I'm sorry, Al Golden isn't losing this kid to ******* Wisconsin. I won't believe it until the LOI is sent.

See I'm not doubting him at all. I'm new to the board and was genuinely curious. I obviously don't need to know his true identity but wanted to get a general sense of this guy.

I think well be alright...I mean I'm really surprised he's so interested I. Wisconsin...I wouldve been more worried about fsu but i guess not

better that he gets his wisconsin trip over now early.

then he can visit here after the season and lock it up
