You’re clueless lol
You’re clueless if you currently think he’s a good passer lol. He was a phenomenal college player, but this won’t win you any Super bowls or even sniff the AFC Champ game.

“Jackson completed just 33.3% of his 20-plus-yard throws at 11.5 yards per attempt in 2021. He was dead last in accuracy rate, as only 22.6% of his deep balls were thrown accurately.”

But yeah I’m just making things up lol. He’s severely limited as a passer until proven otherwise. He’s been atrocious in 4th quarters this year; Ravens must be a dumb organization for not offering him a max new contract.

You just looking at numbers lmao, his wr1 was hollywood brown, his oc is greg roman. His best targert his whole career has been a TE.

Ravens were killed with injuries in training camp last year and they were 8-3 and he was in the mvp conversation again before he got hurt. You can say he’s not a great passer but to say he cant throw is just old dumb pre draft narratives that he’s proven wrong over n over again.

Him and the ravens are in negotiations like every other elite player has gone thru before. The packers waited with rodgers, Cowboys waited with dak, cardinals did with kyler, even the patriots waited with tom before he left lmao thats how negotiations go lmao

I love how his demeanor never changed. 😂
He will still give the same type of response to this day.

S/N: come to the bucs after Brady leaves

He’s thrown for 11,602yds 99TD’s 37INT’s at 64%cmp in 5 seasons as a starter, with having missed 6 games last year.

Lamar is actually ranked 6th in the league in big time throws with 11 at a 5.3% rate (PFF) & is 5th in the league right now in Passing TD’s. Last year was not a good year for him at all, but considering the injuries that were piled up by the Ravens (including his own), I don’t think 2021 is the encapsulation of who he is a QB as a whole.

He’s actually improved in multiple categories as a passer, such as his throw rate, ypc & QB rating; the biggest hurdle for him has been the deep ball & 3rd down, but overall to say “he can’t throw” is a bit of reach.

And he was offered a max contract in the offseason, he just didn’t sign it because he wants a fully guaranteed contract & the Ravens Front Office has historically always been frugal when it comes to Cap room & handing out big contracts, but what can be guaranteed is that he will get quite a big deal at the end of the year, it’s simply a matter of whether or not he gets more than Watson or if it’s structured more like Kyler Murray’s.

The extension stuff has more to do with how Eric DeCosta & the Ravens front Office does business & nothing to do with how they view him as a passer. If that were the case, they would’ve already fired Greg Roman & his backup QB wouldn’t be Tyler Huntley who’s basically a poor man’s Lamar Jackson lol.

If they wanted a Mahomes/Burrow style high volume passer they’ve certainly gone about it the wrong way in terms of roster building; the entire Offensive personnel is designed around Roman’s Pistol Offense, which is all about having a mobile QB, with 3 RB’s & TE’s, same system he ran in San Fran & Buffalo.

If we’re talking about college, yeah I said he’d be electric here. He was s good enough passer for college, and one of the best athletes at the position of all time.

But if we’re talking pro…I mean…there’s a reason the Ravens didn’t extend his contract…
Lol he has a mvp. The Ravens did extend his contract he just held out for more money. You can’t know football bro

If wasn’t on the ravens they wouldn’t even make the playoffs

I think LJ is a great player and a stud regular season qb but when it gets to playoff time the level of competition steps up and the defensive design changes. They take away his legs (as much as that is possible) and force him to win with his arm. He can do it but when forced to play inside the pocket he is not nearly the weapon he is in the regular season.

i usually don’t waste my breath on porsters, but man…Lots of hurt S.FLA d!ckriders in this thread. Would he have been great at Miami? yeah no brainer. Is he a bad QB? No, he’s the closest thing we’ve seen to Vick and he’s so talented, extremely gifted…

…but the question was is he a good passer, and I’ll stand by it’s a no. Opposing secondaries have consistently disrespected that facet of his game, and he hasn’t proven he can beat you consistently with his arm. not even a top 6 QB in the NFL. It’s clear as day lol, if you can’t see that then you are just a casual. Certainly not even a top 10 passer, **** probably not top 15. He’s got a top 2 TE in the league, and everyone ****ting on Hollywood Brown…looked **** good with the Cardinals as the #1 before he went down (43/485/3 in 6 games with an exponentially worse QB).

But carry on…
