In 3 years time, who is our starter? Both have good film and electric arms and some mobility....Who do you think wins the starting job?

With all the stressing I heard about technique and footwork today from the coaches I have to say Cade Weldon is our starter 3 years from now. Obviously you can be taught technique but right now technique wise Cade is better BUT no matter who's the starter if it's Cade Weldon, N'kosi Perry, Jack Allison, or Evan Shirreffs the offense will be in good hands IMO.

Personally perry plays exactly like deshaun Watson to me, I'd say him based off of his arm and his mobility in and out of the pocket

I love Perry. He just looks like a player who hasn't really been taught well anything but already has unbelievable trust in everyone he throws to. He really does make some NFL like throws where he expects the defense to open up in a specific spot. His upside is huge and the fact that he is still raw means the coaching staff can make him into whatever they feel like.

Holy ****, for real? It's a long way until NSD 2017. Let them sign first... then learn the system and develop. Comparing apples to elephants before the ink is even on the paper...

this is a recruiting board. Might want to stay in the Eye in the sky if you want to only discuss signees and current players

Faulty logic. OP asked who will be starter (i.e., who will out-battle the other), doesn't sound like a recruiting question, so should've been posted in Eye in the Sky then.

Either way, I'm bowing out of this back-and-forth before it starts, not gonna start a fire for no reason.

I dont think you understand how this works...

Pretty exciting.

Weldon reminds me a bit of Robert Marve with a better arm. Hopefully it turns out better for him here than the other guy. I really really like both of these guys though. Weldon is very underrated at this point. He is a pocket type passer but he can move very well and his arm looks top tier for his age.

Both guys will absolutely blow up this year. So I doubt we sign them both.

Me too. I believe Weldon stays though...he's quoted in saying that he wouldn't consider FSU because he wants to separate from his fathers name and create his own

Perry already decommitted once and now says he's 100% solid but is still taking visits. I don't trust that level of "commitment" especially from a guy who already decommitted. It's gonna be a crazy ride.

Can always go to Florida as a WR...

Richt said he sent two Qbs to league out of the same class before.....Perry fits his FSU scheme and says he's %100 why would he be a candidate to decommit?

I trust Richt to find a way to keep them both. If one of the two needs more "development" Richt may convince him to red shirt this way he can stack them up. At least I hope so.

Yeah I always sweat it out wether someone will flip, so I dont think much till we get like a month out from NSD
