It’ll be an official visit to Miami this weekend for Khris - because it’s a new head coach he can get a sixth official (as a re-do for his previous UM visit),” Gibbons High coach Matt DuBuc said.
“Of the time Diaz spent with Bogle, the coach said, “It went great. Manny is well spoken and talked very highly of our program, talked about what he wants to do at his program. I look forward to a good relationship with Miami down the road. I think Manny’s going to do well.”

DuBuc’s perspective on Bogle’s recruitment?
He says “I think it’ll go down to this weekend on this trip” before Bogle really knows what he will do.
Would DuBuc be surprised if his star lineman winds up at UM?
“No, I wouldn’t, not at all,” DuBuc said. “The head coach is a defensive guy and I think Manny is going to map out how they’re going to use him and I think it’s always one of those positives when you’re recruiting a kid in that position where the head coach can also have a big role in the defense.”

Every time I start to think "**** this kid" I remind myself that Demetrius Jackson was a total flake going back and forth between us and Arkansas right up to signing day...and then turned in to one of the most dedicated Canes we've had in a while, a solid player and an absolute credit to the program.

The kid might be Keef, but you just never know.

Manny has to keep recruiting him becusae you can’t let a player like him just walk to your rivals. It sends a message that Manny is weak and will lay down. I doubt Bogle comes and it all may be a waste of time, but I think Manny is doing to right thing in the long run. Right now it’s a Bama/UF battle with Miami 3rd. Who knows what this kid will do on NSD.
