This was essentially the recruiting chatter from yesterday.

I'm not going to really comment on the identity of the silent commits, that is for them to announce and it's their big moment.

I will say that we've known of one with 100% certainty for a week or two now. There is a second one that we got a report on awhile back that I have not been able to confirm 100% but I think is pretty likely to be true. If you've been following Miami recruiting lately, these are not surprising names. And no, neither of them were Cornelius Nunn.

The news of UM holding multiple silent commit might come as a surprise to Miami fans, but I was told a few weeks ago that at least one local defender has told the Hurricanes that he's coming. We're also under the impression that there's a second who has done the same. We're not going to reveal the names of who is silently committed as we don't want to ruin a kid's moment, but if you have been keeping track of who has been at Hard Rock Stadium this season for games it's really not that hard to figure out.

It’s a mix of 2/3 of Bogle Ingraham and Stevenson. Unless it’s akeem dent or jj Weaver. Those are the 5 defensive names that have been hot visits wise lately. Either way all big names.

I don’t think it’s ingraham as Ivins update yesterday sounded as if he might not even know where he’s going after his official visits to Alabama and Oregon. If it’s not ingraham and they indeed are 2 defensive players then that’s where it gets really interesting because we could potentially have a silent from a player that many aren’t expecting to come here.

If Nunn IS a silent then he WAS a silent so there’s only 1 silent OR Nunn WAS NOT a silent and there are still 2 silents?

Maybe but my point is that Ivins seems pretty confusdent about the 2 silents and if he’s saying he’s not as confident in ingraham then can ingraham be a silent?
