Nick Roberts is balling in this clip...I know it's just speculation that he's not a priority and the board seems to be split on this kid but based on this video he looks like a tremendous corner. Hope he stick and my bad I can't figure out how to embed he you tube clip.

I sincerely doubt we're going to drop him. It's still extremely early in the entire process for putting together next year's class. So the staff is doing what they should be doing, talking to a ton of prospects. This way, as things start working themselves out with recruits leaning wherever, we aren't stuck without other options.

He looked amazing in those clips. I wish he'd get his head around a bit more, but besides that there's not a thing you can complain about. He was on them like glue.
 
The short answer, OP, is that he is not from south florida, so he can't be that good now can he.
 
Once Richt and Co. watch the 1 on 1s from the past couple weekends they're going to do two things. One, call Nick Roberts and reaffirm the offer and commitment, and two, they're going to call up Ahman Ross and tell him he's dropped from the class.

thing is he went against some pretty good to elite wr in those clips
 
I don't get the need to start a new thread when topic is already covered in existing thread on page 1.
It's smack of being a "look-at-me-*****" idea.

Why would staff drop either of them? They both very good DB's and from an area of the state UM needs to continuing to exert recruiting influence.

Ahman isn't all that good man. Constantly getting burnt and his ankles broken. Has terrible balance, doesn't flip his hips very well (not that he's a corner or anything but if he were put in a situation), and to top it off he plays slow. When I first saw his stats I was interested, his highlights weren't bad either. Then I started seeing him on other players highlights getting burnt. Plus every camp he comes to he proves he can't hang. Nothing against the young man he's just not all that good IMO.

Hope we keep this kid...Unless we have Wilson in the bag, Roberts looks to good to pass up.

I want Nick, period. The guy just has too good of technique. Two things I look for in a DB, fluid hips and break on the ball and he has both. Good size, strong, and physical. I like his tape, a lot.
 
Roberts looked reallly solid in this. He's really not the kind of lengthy guy we seem to be looking for at DB, but Corn isn't super tall either and gets the job done, and does it well. I would understand if we dropped him, but but wouldn't be too thrilled about it.
 
I almost said we should offer Christian Tutt because he looked just as good as Nick Roberts...before I looked him up and saw he was already the #1 CB lol.

On a side note...any body else wants to see Mike Harley vs Nick Roberts?
