We did all the things that bad, young teams do.

--Dropped 2 TDs, then ended up punting.
--Dropped an INT that would've set us up inside the 30.
--Roughed the punter, and that prolonged an eventual TD drive.
--Held on a TD play, and ended up having to settle for 3.

When you're the inferior team, and you're playing on the road, you can't make those kind of mistakes.

Imagine if we get an 80-yard TD on the first play of the game, then get an INT deep in ND territory. If we go up 10-0 or so, I still think we lose, but it changes the tenor of the game.

Very true. We had plenty of opportunities in the first half and specifically first quarter. Players will learn from this and we will move forward. This team will be very good in a couple years. All the whining and crying is unbearable at this point. Lets get another recruiting class, lets let the dline that played and didn't play this year one more year to develop and we will be in business.

I felt like I was watching a young tiger playing with its prey. Pin it by the throat, let it go. Pin it by the throat, let it go. Keep doing that and eventually it's gonna get away.

We're still learning how to execute when we need it. Some thing like 60 freshmen and sophomores on this team. It'll come, but we're gonna have some games like this where it really hurts.

Definitely a different game if we're up 14-0 in after 8 min and they have to play catch up. I think Dorsett's 2 drops on the first drive and Wieclaw's miss before the half really shook our confidence.

Wow Canes you couldn't have put it any better.

I had the same conversation with my cousin who is also a Canes fan.

Great Post.

Totally agree, should have been 14-13 at the half. Would've been a totally different game IMO.
