I see this thread found it's way to UL's scout board.

"We WILL beat them again. Their 4th string QB (might be down to a walk on by the time we actually line up!) isn't going to save 'em, and outside of Duke Johnson they don't exactly have any real offensive weapons. Further more, their defense couldn't stop a Charlie Strong offense so what in pluperfect **** makes them think they'll shut down a Bobby Petrino offense? Also, last time they came to PJCS what happened to 'em? If I were them, I would NOT be chirping right now"
"This game will be as close as you can get to a "sure thing"...bet the farm"

To the two people that replied, I said "SHOULD" be able to run on anyone. They, mentally, were not the same after DJ went down. Goes back to coaching. I see Miami being good, but not great, as long as they have Golden.
You just quoted a guy who said it's the coaches' fault that the team took a mental hit when Duke went down.Posted: 8/9/2014 6:18 PM [B said:Re: Straight from the Miami board.[/B]

I'm no scientist, but I feel like a lot of teams would struggle a bit when they lose best player they've had in a decade. The Cardinals were thisclose to losing the big east title to Rutgers when Teddy went down two years ago, he had to come back gimpy for them to win. Would that have been Charlie's fault?
