That's all it is. We are sad, shocked, embarrssed, Miami fans, competitors.

Just want one fact before anything is read: We were hoping for a bunch on not very good DT and young DE to take us further! We excelled early and fans lost their thinking.

It sucks to go 7-0 see some real progress and then boom, season turns as quick as we gave it up in 1 st quarter to VT. I think what we are seeing is what was our problem going into the season. Lack of depth and Lack of talent in most defensive spots. OUR TEAM PLAYED BETTER THAN THEY ARE for about 5 games until the team started to wear down.

Yes and no!
Why weren't these players put in to a game plan that would help them play to their strengths?
They had more potential than they showed.
Beating UF was the pinnacle of our success and may have disguised the underlying problems that we are seeing now.

They do look worn down on defense. The reason is they are TIRED. But remember yards don't matter. It matters when your defense spends 40 minutes a game on the field for the entire season. They should be tired. Yards = time of position = wears your defense down. That's y we tackled so good early in the year. Now we can't tackle a 4 year old.

The offense kept the d off the field but the D looked tired from the first snap on and they showed no aggressiveness at all, like a flat tyre from the very first snap, I was shocked. They looked like they had not slept for about 48 hours.
