We actually don't need any more safeties.

Looking at our safety depth chart, it's actually pretty stacked with just hall and frierson this year.

Redwine
Johnson

Carter
Smith

Frierson
Hall

Finley and knowles as energency 4th stringers.

In 2019 after redwine and Johnson graduate:
Sanguinetti
Richards

And this isn't even including a last minute commit from a stud like keidron smith, Huggins, or obviously jobe.

Why? All I did was post stone cold facts. We're going 3 deep with all American types heading into 2018 plus experienced guys manning the 4th team unit. When we lose our top 2 after 2018, were getting sanguinetti and Richards to reload. It is like a literally perfect depth chart balance.

All WITHOUT jobe or surtain.

Wow Adrian finally a reasonable post from you.Agree we're stacked at safety going forward but if Rumph doesn't get another cb or 2 to with Blades and Ivey then Frierson will have to start at cb since we could only be returning Young,Bandy and Dean.

Yes the real need is at cb. The biggest mistake of this staff is not losing Jobe or losing those AH boys. It's slow-playing or not recruiting enough studs like Wilson, Garner, Edwards, or Samuel to make those other cats a luxury, not a need. jobe, surtain, or Campbell should have been the cherry on top of the class, not kids that we put all our marbles on.

Miami needs to recruit the best to compete with the best... Johnson is the only proven bigtime Safety on the roster right now....the rest are still unproven....IMO

You have to slow play them. The alternative is to accept them into the class while telling the studs you'll push out the other guys if they want to commit, or having a class of 35 with everyone knowing you're going to drop 5-10 guys before signing day.

You have to stick it out with the studs and just read them as best you can. If a guy gets flaky enough late in the cycle, you talk to one of the other dudes on your list. Coaches keep up relationships with plan B guys for just this reason. The staff will be on the phone to some guys to replace Jobe, and it won't be the first those guys have heard from us.

Redwine made a believer out of me. I wouldn't say he hasn't proven himself.

Gotta get the elite talent in the area this year it's DB's so we gotta stack up on the top talent. Another thing you gotta look at is the guys coming out this year have a way higher ceiling than the guys we have right now in the current roster. So stack em up build that depth and competition... Clearly we on the way on the QB, RB, TE, and WR positions.. Our offense is what really needed to built up and I believe Richt and company have done a great job recruiting for it.

Everything I've seen you say in regards to recruiting has been completely wrong. Mainly this and saying that stars don't matter.
