So far here is what i got. In the first hslf whenever Kst lined up in pro set they ran a bootleg to the tight end. One for a short gain, one for a big gain, and a dropped first down. Anytime they were in a pro set, they did not run the ball. I expect to see more of this tomorrow.
Say what you will about benjamin, but we dont have a receiver with that burst and is an actual threat for a run after catch. Dorsett is our closest, and his burst so far has not been like benjamins.
Klein has a very slow release, but i doubt we will take advantage of it. When we brought pressure, we made him fumble and sacked him.
Duke will be able to keep his balance on those that miller fell on arm tackles at the knees. If miller had dukes balance he would have rushed for 1700 last year.
Jacory has pretty good skill set for a qb but realllly lacks arm strength. Morris will be able to fit it in to windows, but i expect the ksu dbs to jump alot of routes and take slot of chances. Wouldnt surprise me to see 2+ picks tomorrow.
Bottom line, we dont win unless we stop the qb. We played run all game and they ran it down our throats, and when they didnt klein turned in to joe montana and threw for the open field. If our D cant stop the run and cover the tight end, we are screwed.
