If the class doesn't add 1 more player it's still a B-. That's not good enough. The lack of DT depth is a major concern, and would be magnified if Nesta were to flip. The point of the post is there's still time to close strong and keep the "momentum" going but the clock is ticking.

Nesta isn't flipping and I'm confident we will get another DT. You never know about Petit-Frere. It's doubtful but anything is possible. It will be interesting to see what happens down the stretch.

Richt must feel confident on some guys since he said he is looking at 1 or 2 over the 25. We are at 20 with Nesta if I’m not mistake. Campbell, chat field, another dt who isn’t a project, another ol that can play tackle ideally, and another legit defensive recruit would be great. All of that probably isn’t likely, but every year the same thing is evident. You need to be loaded on the lines.

Overall, I'm positive about the state of the program after the used car salesman years, but I don't want to just see the light at the end, I want to feel it. Close is not good enough when we have the best talent in the country in our own backyard. I admit I see a scenario whee we level-off at about 10 wins a year but I also see a scenario where we dominate college football once Saban retires.

Rumph has no basis to be fired. Dude was NOT hired for American heritage, coaching>recruiting and he has done decent in recruiting. Do we want him and hope that he does better and land those kids? Of course. But what he did with those dbs this year was impressive and won't be washed away

His coaching is suspect. Over and over you see our DBs running around and never looking back to find the ball. All year long, all freaking year.

Absolutely. Especially after that one practice video that leaked where Rumph told Dean, "do not ever turn your head around downfield. Just look at the receiver's eyes and flail your arms wildly." And the other video where he's telling Knowles that when there are two guys running a deep route and one is being covered by the CB and the other is running free, "he should always run to the receiver that's already covered, because that's the opposite of what the QB expects." Strange methods.
