That's what we have to remind ourselves of. Our last two head coaches are now 1) a head coach of a startup that no one has heard of and 2) the LB coach of a mid major.

Wait one more year and TCU will play a 7-0-4 defense, when Shammin doesn't recruit any LBs

TCU is the 9th ranked team defense in the nation, not that Shannon is responsible for this result, but 9th in the nation is pretty good. Wish the Canes had a 9th ranked defense, I would settle for 49th ranked defense at this point.
How about Manny Diaz's defense at Texas, talk about a sieve. Couple years ago people on Grassy were talking him up like he was Buddy Ryan. His defense is horrible and Texas recruits the best of the best. His attacking, blitzing defense sucks.
