Was Diaz an ace recruiter? How many top 10 FL defensive recruits were excited to play in his defense? šŸ¤”

Maybe he realized he couldnā€™t recruit FL defensive prospects at a high level while having virtual automony as defensive coordinator.

Recruiting isn't his forte...But obv he established a **** of a defensive culture in a short period of time.

Heā€™s far from an ace recruiter, had an elite defense and still struggled to recruit, thatā€™s a problem and one of my main reservations about Diaz. With that being said the recruits he do get plays well in his scheme so it offsets it a little bit

Canā€™t be easy selling Richtā€™s program.

The defensive class of ā€˜18 had some nice signings. Rumph getting gas-faced by his two former players hurt.

I think recruiting was going to get easier for him putting on an exciting product on the field and having guys drafted

Some guys need to be the best used car salesmen others like Diaz would be better saying just look at what I do on the field and in the draft... your choice young buck

hardest thing do achieve is to get a staff that can recruit and coach(develop talent once it arrives on campus)
Coach Kool excellent example as a coach give him a 10, recruiter maybe a 4.
Rumph's secondaries are well coached but he gets crushed as a recruiter.
always need to be searching for perfect balance and we cannot be afraid of staff changes
hire good Coaches, they will get promoted and get better jobs
