Three Hurricanes were recognized by the Atlantic Coast Conference following standout performances in Miami’s 41-17 win over rival Florida.

Cam Ward (ACC Quarterback of the Week), Zach Carpenter (Offensive Lineman of the Week) and Jaden Harris (ACC Defensive Back of the Week) were among the weekly conference honorees, as announced Tuesday afternoon.

That guy went toe to toe all day against a 6’5 430lb monster and his backup who is 6’6 340lbs. That’s that Big 10 toughness on full display. Kudos!

I saw Rodriguez and Rivers both get beat badly (rivers cause he decided just not to block the edge for some reason) on two of our TDs. Didn't notice Carpenter much. Gotta watch the full replay though.

Strategy: Rivers knows what will make Cam score.

I mean Rodriguez lost his match literally right at the snap. Rivers made an obvious mistake too. So I can assign blame on those two plays at least. As for Carpenter or just in general, sure, it's harder. But it's not impossible.

Based on the statistics, he had a better game than Barron. I was surprised. I felt like Barron had at least 8 tackles and 2 sacks. He was all over the field.

Barron: 3 total tackles, 3 solo, 1 sack, 2 TFL

I think rivers was too focused on helping Rodriguez.. it's a domino effect when u have a guy worried about helping someone who might not be on point.. they better get it figured out fast
