Curious to see how he performs against Samson and Bell/Rivers. He’s got 5.5 sacks right now and leads the NCAA. Not sure which side he typically lines up on but he’s their only defender with more than 1 total sack.

They’ve played vandy rutgers and prob some cupcakes. So we will be the best they have faced. Plus fletcher and Martinez are good helpers on blitz

VT fumbled a punt right up front and then had several other turnovers. Too many mistakes and very inconsistent. It will be interesting what we see on Friday night from them.

He sounded familiar so I went and looked him up.

4 of those sacks came against Old Dominion.

Against Rutgers and Vanderbilt he had 1.5. Marshall skunked him.

The half sack against Vanderbilt came when the QB tried to escape a,corner blitz and basically ran into his arms.

The Rutgers sack came because the TE straight whiffed on a block. He did get a nice pressure against the LT the next play to get his teammate a sack.

Guy is a good player but there is a reason he couldn’t break into Florida two deep before he transferred.
