You know they are going to devote everything to getting at Morris, and stopping the run. (same as always, especially after seeing Morris overthrow two dozen sure TD passes in the last three games)

I'm worried about a Morris turnover exhibition.

More cheery stuff: VTs crappy offense and non quarterback havn't faced a D as bad as ours, so they will have a new weapon, the third down and long quarterback draw for 15 yards.

If noDnofrio is smart he'll do the same thing. Stack the box and make VT's QB beat us with his arm. He's a better QB than FSu's but he is by no means Peyton Manning back there.

Our WR's can get open and I'm hopefull Fisch remebers that we hit the slant for money a ton in our first few games and now it's somehow dissapeared. Hopefully with a few weeks of rest and practice Morris can come in 100% on his timing, health, and mental stability.

Offensively, I would like to see us run more zone runs against Vtech,it worked last year and it will work again this year.Settle for quick slants and crossing patterns against man coverage that they run.

Defensively,and I keep repeating myself.But we need to shift more towards D'Onofrios' preffered rush 3-4 have a dline of Green,Chick & Pierre,Mccord coming off edge with Johnson,Gaines & Perryman at linebacker.Fake blitzes to confuse Thomas and have a lb spy on him

Are you taking the Cold Duck? He is not better than EJ, IMO, because he cannot pass at all (of course, that will undoubtedly change against us). EJ is a QB at least, this guy is some clown they pulled from the four deep TEs at practice.

I agree with making him pass. I don't think he can even hit the TE against us, which says a lot.

I just hope we don't play ten yards off the ball, and end up giving up the 15 yard draw and the 15 yard pass to the RB or TE, like KSU

Time to clean up some sloppy play. I believe VT is trash but that is exactly what they think about Miami. I think has more gamechangers though.

It is heartening that VT has lost four games and has no wins over anybody.

This is the absolute worst year of the ACC. The Coastal has NEVER been easier to win. We will probably never see a situation where we have a worse VT team, and all we have to do is beat them, UVA and Duke to go to the CG. EASY!

Miami freshmans finally played a real BCS game in terms of speed and violence. They should be healed up and foaming to get back at it again.

I dont agree with that being VT's plan. As FSU showed, just sit back and defend the pass and you can beat us because our running game never gets going.

Just because it worked for FSU doesn't mean it'll work for everyone else. Morris hadn't practiced all week and it showed up in a big way on Saturday, not to mention he was playing on a sprained ankle and did something to his hammy during the game. No team has taken away the deep ball. We're still getting open but singlehandedly beat ourselves vs ND and NC with drops. Why we went away from the run vs fsu is beyond me. Some of this will surely be addressed during the bye. Also, this may be the first game we have a presence in the backfield as VT have been struggling massively with their third choice center

I will assume they will bring the same game they have brought the past 10 years when we play them. I don't think their record has ever been relevant to how hard they play us.
