This article was stupid from the jump:

"Mario Cristobal started his first full recruiting class at Miami with some major fireworks, pulling in a pair of five-star offensive linemen in Samson Okunlola and Francis Mauigoa. The ‘Canes finished with the nation’s No. 6 class in the 2023 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and the No. 1 class in the ACC. 2024 though, has been a bit slower thus far."

Actually 2024 is going almost exactly how 2023 went. Francis committed on July 4 and Samson committed on December 15th, so no, Mario didn't "start off his first full recruiting class with some major fireworks, by pulling in a pair of 5-stars..." At this time last year we had one 4-star (Joseph) and a bunch of 3-stars the staff identified as players and locked up early.
