I’m giving my message board opinion coupled with quite a few folks on X complaining about how awful of a coach he is and this is unacceptable for the OU program.

I don't see OU firing him if they lose this bowl game. Good luck to him next year though when the only WRs they have from the portal so far are from Southern Illinois, Arkansas, and UAPB (not to mention the 5+ that already transferred out) and they don't seem to have a quality O-line either. Mateer can only do so much
