USC V. THE NCAA....

Heard that USC has told kiffin to go ahead and get 25 schollie players signed instead of the 10 the NCAA is limiting them to.

They think this current lawsuit has some legs and will prove that the NCAA was on a malicious witch hunt that wanted to cause irreparable harm to the school.

Yeah I've never understood why Universities give the NCAA all of this power. FSU gets busted for the largest academic cheating scandal in CFB history and they get a slap on the wrist. **** academics is what this is supposed to be all about so you'd think the NCAA would have made an example out of them. Oh no, getting a dinner and jersey on South Beach is much worse!!!

This is ridiculous. USC is not part of the current lawsuit. It's McNair.

But USC's sanctions were tethered to McNair's alleged actions. If McNair wins this little battle, there should be implications for USC, too. Or, at the least, it's conceivable.

Because the universities need someone or something to regulate the athletic departments, so everyone is on a level playing field.

Because when you voluntarily JOIN the NCAA as a member, you agree to give the NCAA all of this power.
