Are these players getting paid on a payroll type structure or is it their own entity and their the ones who deal with the taxes operating as a business? One way or another that over the table NIL deal will be heavily taxed. I would think USC didn’t go into to much detail about California s outrageous taxes when they lured him away.

That would be my guess.

The tax rate in Florida is a huge recruiting advantage for recruiting kids trying to choose between Miami and a Florida school. The random COVID restrictions they use is as well. No masks, no taxes, is a pretty easy point to sell.

Follow up tweets, once the Universoty got ahold of him, carry less weight.
The original tweet probably had some truth to it, no?

Seems to me that he put out that tweet on his own. I don’t know why he deleted it, but it looked like a very spontaneous tweet. Did you actually read the article?

The NCAA is still saying no pay to play. Therefore anything before enrollment can’t possibly be in writing, correct?

This is where Lifewallet has the advantage. The agreement is, pay to Tweet or appear publicly or shoot a commercial. This would not be in violation.

Tweets often are like kneejerk reactions to half true or untrue information received. And Twitter is often a window to snapshot state of mind of tweeting people that does not reflect their whole thought process. The unintended consequences of people running their mouths. Or in this case running their fingers on keyboards.
