I will never forget watching Shaquille O’Neal in the McDonald’s AA game. Took a rebound and went the length of the court by himself, through traffic, and dunked. Point being, you can sometimes see ability by guys that is special. It may be anecdotal evidence, but your eyes see what they see.

To be fair, a lot of the top schools didn't recruit him. He ran a 5.1 40 at a camp in 2016 and didn't run the 40 at the Miami Opening in 2017. Uhdl shows him as a 4.83 guy at 230+ pounds but he could be closer to 4.9+. Based on what i read, he struggled at camp settings in space. That's not to say a 4.9 LB can't play well in college.....Scooby Wright was 4.9, Kentrell Brother for Mizzou was 4.89, Paul Dawson was 4.95 for TCU and Preston Brown lead Louisville in tackles (94) and TFL (13) at 4.86. That said, guys with slow 40's being very successful are usually exceptions to the rule, especially as the game has spread out and been more about space and speed. He's definitely a thumper inside against the run on tape.

He was committed to Auburn spring of 2016 but they stopped talking to him, so he decommitted in September 2016. He named Louisville his favorite before ever visiting but said he wanted offers from Bama, Clemson and FSU. The top schools never recruited him so he signed Louisville. He did make a few unofficial visits to Miami.

I get that - just playing devil's advocate.

Fans scream when top 10 teams recruit players we don't - how can they be good enough for Auburn, OU, etc but not us.
But then fans scream when we don't recruit kids that none of the top teams recruiteither, which is why they end up at Louisvile.

I'm not saying the kid is UM material or not. I'm just putting context behind the "why" he may not have been recruited.

Have a feeling that if he was committed to UM some of the same people questioning why we didn't recruit him would be criticizing UM for recruiting a LB that ran a 5.1 40.

The reports from last summer were they thought he was the best OL at Paradise camp and best interior OL in Florida.

He may even be one of the best tackles as well. He showed out last night. I’m still mad he didn’t get a crack at LT.

Scaife played well. Meadows didnt look good.

Scaife grew and developed with the extra size, Im sure if he didnt sign early saban and uga would be on his ***. We got on him and he got insanely better. And who cares how he holds the ball hes explosive az fuq, I dont care if he holds the ball with his foot. I didnt watch the game man and I dont want to watch the replay, someone tell me how Gurvan did man I didnt hear anything about him. I did see the BJ foster hit though kid has range
 
Jordan is elite. Told y’all, a tight end is not supposed to be that big and run as well as he does. Can’t wait.... usually in a class you would have a handful of players you are really excited about in a class. I’m really excited about the whole **** class.... it’s thats good
 
Is Scaife an EE? The way he’s performed this week it looks like he has a real chance to take one of the 2 tackle positions. I was really impressed.

Chickillo would have been dominant in college in our current scheme. It's not his fault he had to play under the worst coach in UM history that fattened him up. There's a reason he's with a great organization like the Steelers.

Yes cuz needs to lose 20 pounds! Scaife is a beast he did better this week at tackle i was at the practices he lost one rep all week that i saw. Cleve lost 2 reps all week. Together side by side they are **** I witnessed it with my own eyes how dominant they are in the run game. NPF should be visiting the 26th of January.

He always reminded me of Hernandez but he moves better in and out of his breaks and thats insane cuz AH was a beast that u could even line up at h back
