UNC game WILL have 40K fans

That is great news. I remember last year's employee day we had a "great" turnout against a team that wasn't very good, forgot who it was. Should be able to get a real 40k in there!

They should do this all the time for games that don't sell out. Give tickets out to employees, and to good causes and ****. Give tickets out to the people in the community who can't afford to go.

No reason seats should sit empty.

And if it starts to look packed on TV for every game, then people will start buying more tickets.
 
I would start handing them out to coaches in the local optimist leagues! Gotta get those young kids in there watching the games!
 
In the OB years ago, the Canes would invite hundreds of kids from the youth leagues and I would be looking up in the NE corner of that OB hearing those kids just cheering and having a great time! UM needs to start doing that again....

They will go most employees don't care one way or the other, they will go because the tickets work like this:
One free with an ID with each one being $1
Each ticket comes with a $10 voucher that can be used for food or merchandise at the stadium
They sell a parking pass for $10

So for $13 a family of four can go see a game...yes these people will show up. Like another poster said they showed up for Duke last year.
 
In 2010 I think Maryland was employee day and there was around 50-55k.

EVERY HOME GAME SHOULD BE EMPLOYEE DAY
