UNC can derail VT's hopes for the coatal this week

Either VT can put UNC out of contention alltogether or UNC can do us a big favor and give VT an L in the ACC

Also, Duke can do away wtih UVA for us and hand them their 2nd ACC loss.

Either way, we are going to look good in the ACC after this week. Couple teams can be knocked out alltogether or we can see VT take a hit.

I want us to TAKE the Coastal. None of these teams are better than Miami, and many are much worse.

Our 2004-2006 teams would steamroll this schedule.

UNC tough game are VT, UM and NCST
VT tough games are UNC, Clemson, FSU and UM

Clearly VT has the tougher road. That said, we want UNC to win. Why, if, and that's a big if, UNC finished first in the Coastal and UM finished second, UM would be playing for the ACC Championship. UNC is on probation and therefore cannot participate in any postseason games. The ACC title game falls under the post season definition.

They do this almost every single year. One or two bad early losses - maybe one out-of-conference, and then they pull off like 5 in a row in conference, combined with Miami losing 2-3 allowing Va. Tech to get into the conference title game year after year. Really want to see this come to an end this year. It has to stop.

Actually we dont. We could lose to FSU and still control our destiny by winning all the ACC Coastal games. 7-1 in the ACC with a 5-0 divisional record = ACCCG.

BTW, we should all be UNC fans. Like the poster above said, UNC handing out divisional losses to our divisional foes makes our road to the ACCCG much easier.

Va Tech usually saves their best for the ACC schedule, winning the ACC is their National Championship. I'll never count them out until they're dead and buried.
