I was just looking at the top 30 players in each recruiting class since 07 and miami has always had at least one top 30 player from the espn recruiting list.
07: Allen Bailey
08: Arthur Brown, Sean Spence, Brandon Harris, and Marcus Forston
09: Ray Ray Armstrong
10: Seantrel Henderson, Storm Johnson
11: Anthony Chickillo
12: Tracy Howard
13??????

That's six years straight now! So from the 2013 uncomitted top 30 players I ask the board who comes to miami next?

For the 2013 top 30 from espn I'm thinking mathew thomas, tim williams, stacy coley, and the big surprise Rueben Foster committing to miami.

Depends what top 30 you are looking at and if you understand what the "top 30" really is.

K. Olsen, A. Burns and J. Carter are all "top 30" talents.

K. Olsen would be in the top 10 if he was committed to Bama or ND. Trust me.

I don't doubt the abilities of any of the guys we are recruiting I was just looking through the espn top 30's and thinking we always land those type of players so I expect no less of miami

Olsen might have been there if he had played a senior season instead of a couple games.

Figueroa and Bond would be top 30 talents if recruiting experts could believe what they were seeing.

all I know is that the guys we have committed all look great. Their tapes display what you are looking for in a recruit.
Bond and Fig are just nasty, mean looking lb/de players.

Cortez Kennedy wasn't exactly considered a "top 30" talent coming out of high school, but look how he turned out. Great recruiting classes are nice, but some of our best classes have shown on the field, not in the rankings. Don't get me wrong, I love getting studs, but some of the more underrated guys can be some of the meanest and best contributors.

Trust me I'm not the star junkie but its always cool when the recognize the school as a top recruiting school. I'm a fan of 3* players because many go overlooked. Maybe they didn't play against the toughest maybe the media coverage and publicity isn't big. I trust production not stars. That's why I like Phlip and bond and low key guys
