Sure, we don't have a clue about what type of player QB Stephen Morris really is. He's only started a couple of games and did OK or subpar in them. Now, the offense is his. He is no longer 2nd fliddle. I started thinking about him as a player and after a while began to compare him to a young Russell Wilson. Can Morris mirror Wilson's sophomore year at NC State? Can he become that type of player?

Both can pass in he pocket and on the run. Both have strong arms. Both can run. Can Morris make the leap?

You tell me. Thanks. Here is the link to Wilson's stats: http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/14881/type/college/russell-wilson

Oddly enough I compare him to Geno Smith's sophomore and Wilson's junior. He can throw for 3,000+ with the right coaching. I mean if Jacory improved in one year with Fisch imagine how Morris, who has more upside, will do with two.
Maybe 3,400 yards 27 TD 12 INT and 340 yards rushing?

I'm gonna go with something like:

2700 yards, 16 TDs, 11 INTs, 62% completion percentage

his int's can be 12 as long as they aren't pick 6's or short field int's. if he is airing it out deep and they pick it off sometimes just as good as a punt.

That's definitely true. A decent amount of Jacory's ints seemed to be third-and-whatever bombs that behaved functionally like punts. Others were red-zone picks that killed drives or short-field ones that gave the other team points.

On the plus side, I don't see Morris underthrowing anyone on our roster. I'm thinking he'll do somewhere under 3,000 yards with 25 TDS and 10 INTS. Anything better than that is gravy, IMO. If we have a semblance of a running game and a decent defense that's 9-10 wins, easy.
