Is is kid a r-soph or a junior? The Miami website has r-soph but th depth chart has jr

Him and Hamilton should be moved inside regardless of depth IMO. We have Wyche coming in too. Expect another JUCO IMO.

Let's ignore the scheme for a second and I wonder how good the DL coach is too.

Chick lacks explosiveness and is slow, maybe he should go inside but not sure he will do much better.

Just throwing **** on the wall but you think he could be compared to like jj watt? obviously chick isnt that talented but watt is able to almost play any position on the DL

i think chick is a plus speed DT who could pass rush with the best of them.. one of those not good enough on the edge but hes bulked up and has a great first step for the inside
 
JJ Watt is a freak and it wouldn't surprise me if he did something to help enhance his abilities. I don't think Chick has these same abilities but I think he should be playing both DE and DT. We need to move him around more at both positions, on the edge against the run and inside on passing downs.

couldn't agree more with this... especially next year with mccord and aqm gaining weight and size

Been getting conflicting reports on this guy. Is he a R-So or a Jr? If hes a Jr we should have redshirted him. We wasted a year of his development. If he is a R-So then getting two solid years out of this guy could help. Remember, isnt this the guy that hasnt played football that much? He has the body and the ability to be good i assume. We will need him next year.

Just how did the last offseason training help this team, we were manhandled by Duke. While we may have been bigger and stronger Duke's OL and DL just over powered us the whole game.

Don't say that, the former players all come to train with Dr. Andreu Swasey, PhD!! It's not his fault his program has failed for 10 years and his friendship with former players and A-Roid bought him political capital! Swasey is the single biggest cancer this program has ever had. I said it THREE YEARS AGO that Al keeping him was going to prevent us from turning it around.

If we had a smart HC and DC, he'd take guys like Chick and Kamala and turn them into disruptive gap-shooting nasty DTs. Instead, they'll be standing there like statues playing pattycake getting bent backward.
