How is thinking a kid is going to another school to get an education soft shouldered? Its a prediction and the way the last 15 years have been of course people wont feel good about any recruit when it comes to closing something we have not been good at in forever. Its not soft your making a prediction based on feel and reporters reporting **** u can have metal shoulders all u want it wont matter soft or not, and it doesnt change anything.

his cousin basically said he is coming to miami but wants to make sure its the right choice so he will visit a couple other schools he likes.

When you have guys like Lingard shutting down their recruitment and Campbell with Rumors going into January you have pretty much lost.

I'm trying to remember in the last few years which recruit did not name a favorite at this time and yet signed with us in February?

Can anyone help and remember. Can't be that many.

Jeff Thomas maybe. Can't remember any tip level recruits that hadn't already made up their minds to be Canes.

Well I'll put it like this, I asked him if he knew where he wanted to go. The answer I got was different than the second-hand info I heard through his sister that I posted on here before. I believe his thinking has changed more than his sister misinforming me. Basically he says he wants to stay home but he owes it to himself to seriously weigh his options. He knows that for him personally, there is no bad situation football wise. He's confident that he can make an immediate impact anywhere. It's a three horse race between Us, UGA & Bama and since I heard him say he wants to stay home, I would say that we hold the lead but the competition is pulling out all the stops. I spoke with his dad for a while, and he reiterated that this is Tyson's choice alone and he'd support him wherever he goes. But he made it clear that Tyson is gonna do his due diligence to be sure he won't regret his decision in retrospect. I believe that Richt & staff will deliver the pitch necessary to keep him here...

Rattler is one of my favorite posters on here, but he hasn’t really told us anything specific other than that UM is in the picture.

This is going to be one of those mysteries right till the end. People will guess, and, of course, some of the guessers will be right. But it’s just guessing.

This kid has created the ultimate mystery. It looks like he wants to go to UGA. He doesn’t really talk up UM much and never really has. Seems like the only real advantage we have is that we are home. Hopefully, that’s enough.

But his family has gone out of its way to make it clear that it’s completely up to him and haven’t injected their own biases whatever they might be. This isn’t a kid who grew up indoctrinated as a Cane like a Trajan Bandy. He seems lukewarm to us, but maybe that’s just his personality. I have no idea because I don’t know him.

I think we’ve done a pretty lame job getting him excited about UM.
