I agree that they should not have played more. Defending a triple option requires experience and adherence to assignments. It's not that easy for most teams to play that kind of defense, since you rarely see it. I can understand the coaches not wanting to play their pass-rushing specialists for most of the game, especially when they are very young players. This is not an offense where you tell a pass-rushing specialist to pin his ears back and go. I think I heard McCord's name more toward the end when they had to pass more.
