Thompson's safe, he's publicly said we're the only school he really talks too and if Roberts and Ross were going to be pushed out it would've happened already like it did with Dunning. They're back up plans until we get somebody better and in Nick's case if there's someone better

Dunning is the opposite of what Diaz and Richt are looking for at the LB position.

Thomas Brown will zero in and land an elite talent or two to go along with Burns.

We didn't chase RB last year other than Homer so we did not get a chance to see what Brown is capable of from a recruiting perspective.

Thomas Brown will zero in and land an elite talent or two to go along with Burns.

We didn't chase RB last year other than Homer so we did not get a chance to see what Brown is capable of from a recruiting perspective.

The Spartans have a trio of three-star Miami Hurricane commits - running back Bentavious Thompson, wide receiver Rodney Scott and safety Billy Gibson Jr. - that all said they are solid with their pledges and haven’t talked to any other programs in the last month.

That's from Ryan Bartow on the 6th of this month.

As of right now it looks he's probably in the class

If Thompsons safe how many backs do we take this year? We are on several big-time prospects..... Ross and Roberts aren't on the same level to me...After watching the spring game.......I cannot see us dropping Roberts at all he has 4* potential.... We are in much better position at safety......no direspect to Ross.....he doesn't have enough speed (on paper) to play in this new scheme. This the U...I don't want anymore slow kids getting smoked in the secondary...period!

The key here is as of right now. If we get Felix and or McFarland... I don't see Thompson in this class. He can have his placeholder until then though.

We aren't taking more than 2. As hard as they are going for other RBs, I don't think Burns and Thompson will be in this class
