According to my Vol buddies, it was a combo of $, injury and playing opportunities for younger guys. He did have injury issues at UT and he did come out of 23 with a shoulder. UT has a really good DL too and it was opportunity cost for them with their younger guys. He also tried to transfer once before and stayed. I think it worked out for everyone: he’s played better here for us and they have a good DE group tooI didn't really follow his recruitment - why did Tennessee let him go? They've got a good team this year and clearly aren't short of money.
the real question is how did Louisville **** this up? Gotta be punching air right now lol.According to my Vol buddies, it was a combo of $, injury and playing opportunities for younger guys. Vols feel like their Dline is STACKED and have the projected #1 pick at DE in Pearce so they probably didnt want to deal with NIL shenanigans with Baron again.. Our benefit as we only need him here for 6 months..I didn't really follow his recruitment - why did Tennessee let him go? They've got a good team this year and clearly aren't short of money.
They tried to pay him in IOU.. they had a few guys bounce, lol.. Our benefit..the real question is how did Louisville **** this up? Gotta be punching air right now lol.
All they could offer were coupons to Papa John'sI don’t think the check was clearing lol
