Two names to watch

Sooooo was that blob of a coach Jose Duasso trolled by Jobe also or was he trying to protect the selfish **** on the last podcast? I know we were recruiting Jobe as a CB/S hybrid, but with Derrick Smith on the roster I don't think it will hurt as much. #25 looks like hes going to be a baller.

I'm scared if we get k smith to go with Carter and Smiff multiple wr will be killed

Personally I like Smith due to the size and speed combo but I’ll gladly take Samuel. Bandy has proved he can line up anywhere including boundary. Asante probably can too, if not move Bandy and leave Asante at nickel. No other DB in our current class or DB we’re targeting next year is undersized. We have room for Samuel

FWIW Matt Shodell posted today that he spoke with K Smith and that the kid says he was dropped by Miami.

who said surtain is in the picture? why do people now think we have a chance? I hope we do, but anytime someone mentioned Surtain on the board they would get crucified so what has changed?

Miami is definitely in the picture with Surtain, but a lot will hinge on Campbell.

Do you mean a package deal or only if T.C goes elsewhere? Please elaborate, thanks!

So your saying that we can have a DB class with
Hall
Frierson
Blades
Ivey
Samuels
Surtain
Campbell

Lord please let this happen

Life on Saturday would have been a lot better if we had someone like Asante to come in the game at nicket after Bandy got hurt.

That's when you know you're officially a big boy program, you bring dudes off the bench to replace dudes

The film I saw of Samuel last year seemed more in zone, cover 3 like pops. So I just stereotyped him a cov 3 guy. But this film shows him up in dudes faces pressing and he also plays physical for his size . I'm a lot more impressed with this film. I still like surtain and Campbell more but he's definitely a take.

I just prefer bigger cb. With Bandy and Malik I was hesitant on us taking another smallish cb (like my opinion matters). But if you can cover , you can cover .

I remember on CBS I laughed at FSU when they brought in 5'8 Lamarcus Joyner and talked about how Laron Byrd (6'4) abuse him. To this day I've learned my lesson. If he can play, then get him.

For the most part I don't like living and dying with small cb out wide, but there's always exceptions ( Bandy,Joyner).

Brandon Flowers, Janoris Jenkins etc etc.

It's all about the hips, not the size of the CB. Give me guys that can flip their hips and run with guys who don't mind putting a hat on a hat.

Or Hall,Frierson,Ivey ,Blades and one more like Samuels. This is more realistic at this point.

I'll take a dog like Samuel any day of the week over that camp warrior Kaindoh's Kuck. Fck the height issue. Samuel will cover your *** and force QBs to make perfect throws to beat his lack of height.

Samuel looks physical every time I watch him play on tape or on TV. As we have seen, the tackling ability of our corners is critical in Manny's defense. I think he's a good fit if we can flip him
