I could nitpick some details, but the shot selection and turnovers by the Miami Hurricanes really doomed them in their loss to Florida State.

Miami lost guard Divine Ugochukwu in the first half due to a lower-body injury, which forced him to leave for the locker room. Guard Nijel Pack also suffered a lower-body injury, significantly impacting the Hurricanes' performance as they struggled with turnovers. Both Nijel and Divine were crucial to the team's success, and their absence was felt particularly during the critical moments of the game.

The Hurricanes committed a total of 13 turnovers in the game today versus Florida State, primarily due to our inability to handle the ball and making critical passes.

The shot selection by the Hurricanes was poor today. Whenever they found a bit of momentum, they tended to take contested shots or contested three-pointers, which allowed the Seminoles to score on the other end. Miami needs to focus on taking better shots, slowing down the offense, and driving to the rim when they gain momentum, rather than settling for three-pointers. Today, the Hurricanes shot only 24% from beyond the arc.

Miami faced challenges on the defensive end, getting outrebounded by the Seminoles 32-25. If the Hurricanes want to turn the season around, it needs to start with improving their defensive reboudning.

Hopefully we can get things turned around by Wake Forest.
