Personally i liked alot of Jedd's creativity, even when they didnt work

If anything his penchant for trickery kept opponents guessing

Yall think Coley will try some of this stuff or will he just let our guys impose their will?

3rd and goal on the 2? FLEA FLICKER!!!

3rd and 4 inside the 20? HALFBACK PASS!!!

Sometimes it worked, but when it didn't it was a monumental failure. I like trick plays, but let them make sense, not ruin goal opportunities.

he should based off of the amount of attention duke will get from the strong safety being in the box.

I'm not really into trick plays either, especially when you have an offense as good as ours projects to be. I find alot of times teams try to get to fancy and end up messing up the momentum of a drive where they would've been better sticking with the bread and butter and marching down the field.

All I hope is we stay out of the **** spread shotgun in the redzone. I liked Fisch, but his redzone play calling was his biggest weakness.

I don't mind the trick plays every now and then, but fisch would definitely get too cute sometimes.

Those who are hoping we run the ball a lot more are going to be sadly disappointed. JMO though.

Unless another RB really steps up, there is noone on the roster anywhere near Mike James and Duke is likely still going to be needed on special teams and in the passing game. It's not a recipe for a ground and pound attack.

Agree with this, Duke may throw some TD's this year though on the HB pass.

AG likes the trick plays here and their. I see a few this year.

HEY MABE A PASS DOWN DOWN FIELD TO B SANDERLAND AND JUST WHEN HE GETS HIT A LITTLE DUMP OFF TO A WR FOR A BIG GAIN

the funny thing is that people will determine if they do or don't like a trick play based on the result.. which is retarded really.

Example 1, half back pass to wide open tight end.. tight end catches for a td.. GREAT PLAY.

Example 2, half back pass to wide open tight end.. tight end tips it off his hands and it gets picked off.. DUMB PLAY CALL.

In both instances the desired effect was achieved (for the tight end to be wide open), which makes it a good play call regardless of the result.

And i think there will be a few trick plays thrown in here and there. I'm just really hoping our offense looks NOTHING like the FSU offenses from the last few years.

I think the occasional fake end around, or flea flicker might be a as crazy as it needs to be. Our play action game will be deadly enough!

How bout we get the TE wide open some other way and let the scholarship, Heisman hopeful Q throw it to him instead of a RB on the run, under pressure who practices the play a few times a week.

You put players in positions to succeed. D[]_[]KE actually has a bit of a gun for a RB but, I still don't want to see him throwing the ball unless we are up several TD's or desperate late in a game.

Trick Plays are fine when used in the right situation. Up a couple scores on first down from middle field and want to put your boot to their throat? Go for it.

7-7 at your own 20 on 2nd and 12 maybe not so much.
