LSU adds Cole Tracy (kicker) and Joe Burrow (QB) to a team that had recruited extremely well in the past few years. They win two huge games primarily to these transfers.

Transfers bring a higher ready now players, that few JUCOs do. Boulware could be a key find for us, the way he is pushing Brown and with another year to play.

The ability to pro actively spot one or two key transfers per year, helps a team that is close to being elite such as ours. This is somewhat of a new dimension in college football team building. Members of our staff need to proactively know every potential transfer, learn who their contacts are, and what it would take to get them here. Our BB team will have an ACC competitive team thanks to transfers.

Likewise avoid key players transferring out (such as QBs).

If we don't put lots of resources on it. Money teams with back office resources to research transfers like LSU will win this game.

Is the NFL build thru the draft model (recruiting) but add key free agents (transfers).

Next year depending on our recruiting class, I would start looking for a QB (with 2 or 3 years left), DT and maybe a punter.

We need grad transfers on the lines. DL-OL. Thats where i would look for transfers honestly. We should honestly get a transfer DE in this class or a JUCO. None of the recruits at DE were after are guys that will eat reps early. Allow one or 2 of them to take a shirt with a transfer.

The teams that really have a story to tell to potential transfers are Duke, Northwestern, Vanderbilt type schools. Come play for us and get a masters degree from our school. If you aren’t NFL material That’s great for the resume. This would have an appeal to some.

We got'em...its just Boulware, Tito, and Cardenas. lol

With that said...even the good, highly routed transfers like Calvin Anderson haven't been getting high praise.

I honestly expected at least 1 or 2 transfers from Georgia under Richt. Butttt they all ended up dominating and going to the league lolll

There had to have been a punter/kicker available somewhere as a one year rental

Bubba should have had a shirt and gotten use to things. Feagles is awful and needs to either shirt and work on his craft or just get passed over

Tito the DT transfer from IL had a good game vs Toledo. He's definitely been a useful addition, as he's normally the 1st DT subbed in

Bubba’s doing fine. 1-2 FGs (miss was tipped), 18-18 PATs, and a good average on touchbacks. Two poor kickoffs last week, need to work on those.

Competition at punter was definitely in order, and Richt screwed up by not addressing this situation. LSU found their kicker at a small D3 school in New Hampshire, or Vermont or Maine. No reason Miami should not have been scouring the country for a punter.

Wasn’t there rumors McKenzie was going to come to Miami? He would have sat out 2016 and played last year.

Agreed, Boulware seems like a decent get at this point and to have another year of eligibility for him is big.

I think we're looking for the guys who are NFL material but haven't had much exposure.
