Tougher Game..Virginia Tech or Duke?

With these two games being the most important games left on our schedule (I think we all believe we should beat South Florida and Virginia), who does everyone think is the tougher opponent?

I just can't wrap my head around Duke being a tougher game than Va Tech no matter the records but it may be.

But when push comes to shove both of these games have me worried.

When Thomas is on, he is on and can really put a hurting on our Defense.

From what I have seen and read about Duke is they have a very potent offense that can really put up points.

HOWEVER, in the end both of these games are winnable. I think at the beginning of the season if someone said to us, beat Va. Tech, Virginia, and Duke and we win the coastal the majority of us would have taken it.

I'm going to be the outlier. We will take VT seriously, we are on a three game losing streak, lots to prove at home. Easy to focus on that.

If anyone noticed, Duke was up 20-7 and driving on VT deep and they threw a pick, which changed the whole game very quickly and the wheels came off. If we dont take Duke seriously and figure out that long walk to the locker room, they can and will embarrass us.

If we beat VTech and UVA, Duke is likely irreverent, as they're probably going to lose to FSU, Clemson, and GTech. That would give them 4 ACC losses.

Beating VTech almost guarantees we win the Coastal.

Duke had 234 rushing yard against UNC? Seams like a nice balanced offense Cutcliffe has going over there. Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Tennessee, Kentucky ect. if he finishes strong.

Duke seems to be more beatable. I know that they had a hot start. But I'm not ready to say that they'll have an easier time against us than the hated Turkies.

With that said, I think we beat both.

I don't care what their record states they are still a dangerous team who could lay a whooping on us. Though Duke seems like the logical choice with their record and how well they are playing VT will put up a fight and be ready to play..always are.
