There's a lot of speculation in that list.
 
I wouldn't say chick was a bust but he def didn't play to his potential. Blame the coaching staff at the time.

Only 4 players ever had 1,000 yards at Miami.

Why put commits on? When you could have just taken kids who actually graduated high school between 2005-2015?
 
Just call AQM a bust. He may do things in the league but he was a bust here.
 
Saying Chick is a bust is just stupid. If anything, him salvaging his career is pretty **** impressive. He'll be in the league for a while, barring injuries.


Isn't Ray Ray still in the league? I mean he's not exactly tearing it up (1 career sack), and he talks **** to the occasional police dog, but he's still getting paid. He definitely didn't live up to the hype, but he's not a full on bust.

McDermott is not a bust. Late bloomer maybe but not a bust.if Darling has a solid sr. year he will not be considered a bust either. You mentioned Griffin as not ever getting in. So was Angelo Jean Louis. Latwan Anderson? Why do you rate Ray Ray as TBD? Forgot that Forston and Aldarius were both five stars. Add to them Jacori, Spence, Washington, Tommy Streeter all four stars and one more WR at three stars and you have to wonder if there has ever been a public high school class like that Northwestern class before.

Well look at the bright side. There are a lot of TBD on this list of studs coming in. With real coaching, things are going to be A OK my friends.

He was also forced to put on weight. Slimmed down, he's in the NFL. That's on the staff.

We are taking about HERE. Most of these guys were BUST HERE. Whether they go to the NFL and ball doesn't change the fact Chick and the rest of these guys were underwhelming HERE, at MIAMI. This is called the "top 40 MIAMI recruits in last 10 years" not "Top 40 Miami recruits that did well in the NFL in last 10 years." How is it the coaches fault chick can't dominate his blocker in 2-gap scheme? I can understand you saying this for Tracy Howard because we always played prevent hail mary defense on 1st and 10 with M2M corners but for a DL? Shouldn't matter what scheme your in if your that dude.. 70% of teams in College run 2-gap and they find production with players less talented then Chick.

Anyways, looking at the players 85-90% were bust (gawd so much poor development here) and that is excluding the '18 class because they are not officially Canes yet.
